I am selling this beautiful Junghans mahogany mantle clock with working Westminster chimes that has been in my household for many years. I had earlier stated that the clock was running for short time periods and then stopping. I WAS WRONG! I must be losing it! I forgot to wind the center arbor which controls the time function. It\'s been running perfect ever since, keeping excellent time. Sorry for the confusion. The chimes sound terrific but the strike is currently out of sync with the time. It strikes/chimes on the quarter, half, three quarter and hour, a beautiful, rich sound. The clock has three arbors for sound, strike and time. The plate movement is stamped by Junghans and you can even see a small sticker from a Chicago jeweler from 1928 where it was either bought or serviced. This beauty is old and the case, but for a few small scratches, is in great condition. The clock has not been serviced in years and could probably use a good cleaning. Otherwise it is running and keeping great time. The clock stands 16 inches in height by 12 inches in width. It is about 8 inches in depth. Don\'t miss out on this ageless beauty.
