Welcome! I\'m sending lots of photos, so please scroll just over 9 1/2” in diameter x 4 3/4” tall, this is a gorgeous antique pantry box that’s been hand-painted.

The lid has some divots where the wooden pegs have split the wood, and the round piece has shrunk away from the outside band; this happens often with these old boxes. Also, the bottom is not secure, and many of the wooden pegs on the box have been replaced with small brad nails. It’s holding together just fine, though, if used only for display. What looks like a crack around the outside is just shrinkage of the wood – it doesn’t go through to the inside.
