STUNNING Art Deco Enamel Guilloche Gilt Sterling Silver LION Pendant/CharmThe detail on this pendant is fantastic. This fierce lion is in a full roar with a dynamic flowing mane. He is snarling - you can see the wrinkles on his nose as he bears his teeth. This is not a \"flat\" image. The lion is textured beneath the guilloche which gives him dimension as the light changes on the different surfaces. The guilloche that surrounds him radiates from the center like rays of the sun; in a gorgeous steal blue. There is one very, very slight chip at the 5 o\'clock position that only affects the surface of the white border - it does not go through to the metal and is barely noticeable. I only mention it for full accuracy in the description. It has not compromised the stability of the piece. This work of art is 21 mm in diameter, and weighs 3.35 grams. It is most likely French.
