For sale is this stunning Art Deco solid hallmarked silver andGuillocheenamel ladies compact and mirror.

Made by Deakin and Francis.

Beautiful quality and assayed in Birmingham with the date letter for 1938.

Good heavy weight at 87 grams.

It measures 3 inches 7 1/2cm by 3 inches 7 1/2 cm approx.

The condition is very good for its age with the enamel all intact.

The piece does show signs of age in the form of light scratches and signs of use.

The mirror has a couple of black dots but the does not spoil the use.

The piece has an inscription inside as shown.

A lovely piece of classic Art Deco design.
