Here\'s a beautiful vintage Goebel brand lying down foal. I have not been able to fully identify this foal through dozens of websites nor - none ofthe foals picturedlook like this one. The foal is brown with a white blaze face and socks. It measures about 3 1/2\" long x 2\" tall at its ear tips. On the bottom, you will see a Full Bee Mark (which indicates this piece was made between 1950 and 1955), the numbers \"CE237\" and \"42\", as well as \"Germany\". I\'ve emailed a Goebel collector\'s website to find out more information on this unusual figurine.

Overall great condition for its age. There are no breaks, chips, or crazing that I can see. Wonderful display piece!!
