This beautiful and rare antique 18ct gold Victorian wedding ring / band is hand engraved with hearts among swirling scrolled foliate designs. This piece was made in 1901 (the same year Queen Victorian died and Walt Disney was born). Thought to have been created by William Lewis (WL), who was an English jeweller in the Victorian / Edwardian eras. It is extremely unusual to find such a beautifully engraved ring, of this age, in such nice condition. This would make a wonderful antique wedding ring, to be cherished for years to come.

Ring size UK P / USA 7¾.

RING DETAILS:

An 18ct gold wedding band. “D” shaped shank with engraved hearts and ornate scrolled foliate patterns.

Fully hallmarked for 18 carat yellow gold. Birmingham assay mark. Dated: 1901. Makers: WL.

Measures approx 7.40 mm wide and with a height off the finger of approx 1.5 mm

Gross item weight 8.75 grammes

In very good condition in keeping with age and wear.
