Now onto the item for sale.

For sale is an absolutely stunning free form hand blown art glass bowl that is almost too dang cool to get rid of.

This piece is an absolute one of a kind that you will never find another one of. I would love to know who the artist was who created this piece.

The underside of the bowl is white and the background color of the top is a darkruby red. The back edge of the bowl rolls up and formsacurling splitting wave that is about to break. I\'m Hawaiian, so that\'s what it makes me think of anyhow.

The outside edge of the top has tiny black pieces of glassinside the red glass bordering the bowl.

The center of the bowl has pieces of silver metallic foil that appear torn apart andgraduate into smaller and smaller pieces of silver metallic foil. The silver foil is underneath and inside the glass of course.

Scattered throughout the bowl are nine different multi colored circular designs that are crazeh cool by themselves.

We aren\'t sure if the pictures truly relay how beautiful this piece is. We come across hundreds upon hundreds of items weekly and few impress us as much as hand blown glass pieces do. This one is among the favorites we have bought and sold over the years.

We looked all over this bowl to see if we could see any indication as to the artist. Any artist should be proud to sign apiece this amazing. We couldn\'t find anything definitive, but there are a series of very small lines scratched into the glass along the very bottom edge of the bowl. As you can see, the bottom was sanded flat and a small piece of felt was attached to the underside. The series of small lines are near the piece of felt. There very well may be a mark underneath the piece of felt, but we\'ll let the nextowner decide if they want to remove it to see.

This bowl is somewhat difficult to measure for obvious reasons. The bowl is 12 1/2\" wide at its widest points. From the center of the breaking wave in back to the lower right point is 9 3/4\" and 9 1/2\" to the lower left point. The back of the bowl stands 3 5/8\" at the high point and 2 1/2\" or slightly higher around the edge of the remainder of thebowl.

Thisitem is fairly heavy andwill weigh 7 or 8 pounds when packed for shipping in a 14\" square box. We offer several insured shipping options for this item, just make your selection at checkout

We also pack our items very well. We use bubble wrapand/or packaging peanuts along with thickcardboard boxes. If an item is breakable, we clearly mark that onevery side of the box except the bottom. We have received dozens of positive comments regarding our packaging and we will always package our items with the same care as we would want our purchases to be packed.
