Beautiful Japanese cloisonne vase decorated with a images of white and pink roses on a ‘gimbari’ foiled pigeon blood red background. Unsigned, early to mid 20th century.

SIZE: Height - 7” (18 cm)

CONDITION: Good condition, as shown in the photos and with the following noted: No chips, bruises or internal fractures. No restoration. Small, light surface scratches to the rose at upper left (see photo). Tarnish to the foot-rim and top rim. No dents to piece will be a quality addition to any collection of Asian Art and will display beautifully in any Mid Century Modern, Art Deco, Modernist, Mingei or Arts and Crafts decor.
