A beautiful Ottoman / Persian silver snuff box. It is unmarked but testsas high grade silver. I would date it to c1900. It has being beautifully handmade being finely engraved with flowers, birds and rabbits. It is in superbcondition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The hinge is strong, the lid closes tightly. It measures 1.5 inches (3.8cms)wide by over 1 inch (2.9cms) front to back by over 0.5 inch (1.5cms) tall andweighs 27 grams. A beautifully made piece.
