This is a most beautiful and RARE book of 31 Bible Verses with lovely ink and some color visuals. Perhaps this book was used as a daily practice tool each month. OCLC records shows only 6 copies held by institutions, all within the U.S.
Each and every one of the Days are so special that one, several or all would be a great framed collection, gifts and the like. The delightful calligraphy, typography and artwork are combined in high-quality lithographs to present decoratively various Bible verses. They are mostly black ink, but with occasional blues, greens and reds.
Since these book is over 130 years old, it is not surprising that there is a bit of browning (at the top of pages -see photos please-and elsewhere), but from my review, they would not be seen if these quotes with visuals were framed. The hard cover is a bit loose, but still attached to the pages of the book.
FYI, In the past, I have seen this same particular book sell online for $95.00 - $120.00.
