Beautiful fully restored 1880\'s French Canadian Jumpseat Runabou horse carriage / buggy for sale. As shown in the last picture in listing: a new reproduction runabout will sell for almost $6000 PLUS options, tax and shipping. This is an ANTIQUE carriage and museum quality. I have a LOW starting offer of $2750.00 with AND will include candle lamps with purchase!! Shipping not included. Once paid in full I can store until pickup at no additional charge. Asking price is less than cost of parts we paid to restore it! Horse sized. Has mostly been shown with a 15+ Hand Morgan (black horse in picture) but also shown in parades with a 14-2 hand Haflinger and Fjord, 14-3 Gypsy. Fit nicely fit 14-16 hand horses. Very light-- not a heavy antique. Shown and a proven winner in antique classes and Country classes and divisions at Prarie Du Chien and other national shows, such as Columbus Classic in WI in the \"Country Divisions\" and here in Southern California It was in the top 3 of winners in the Antique Division. It has 7 coats of shiny auto black paint with straw colored pinstripes. Auto top is removable and adjustable with flaps for full closure. Black leather tufted seats are gorgeous as well as comfortable. Hand etched brass rein and rail around seat. Louvres on sides of box.

Jumpseat Runabout carriages were used by gentleman of wealth at that time. It was a pleasure vehicle that turned into a family vehicle as needed. Front seat folds down and can be turned to face backwards and rear seat can go back or jumped upwards. Many configurations for single driver or driver with couple in back (seating adults comfortably). Many people at first glance think it\'s a doctors buggy-- but it\'s not-- it\'s much more unique and special with many more features and better configuration. Has also been used in weddings. Excellent wedding vehicle as white dresses stand out against the black carriage beautifully. Also used in parades.. Has won blue ribbons every parade I have entered it in. It is a dream antique.. And a tough decision to part with it as it was personally restored with love and detail... However, horse passed away over a year ago.. And we are ready to let someone else have their special moments with it with their own driving horse as we are phasing out of pleasure driving.
It is priced excellent for a fully restored carriage. All in excellent working condition and ready to use and ALWAYS stored inside.
