For your consideration is a lovely Lidded Coffee Pot in the Blue Fluted Full Lace pattern by Royal Copenhagen. As one can clearly see it is beautifully decorated with blue flowers, lines and a ribbed edge surface. It is numbered 1/1202 and from the markings dates to sometime between 1980-1984. There are two not initially apparent slashes through the wavy lines denoting it is a factory second. One slash means a second that only has a small factory defect and two slashes denotes a larger noticeable defect. In this case which is not initially visible or easily detectable I believe it to be a small separation to the pottery on the pots top inside rim approximately 1/8 inches. If one views the photographs left to right top to bottom one can super size the photograph number 7 and detect it. It certainly does not detract from the general aesthetics or functionality of the piece and is only mentioned for accuracy. Those of you who have owned Royal Copenhagen pieces know what I am speaking of. Please review the photographs carefully as they are also part of the description. It has what we would consider little to no wear as it was carefully cabinet kept and in very good condition with no damage that we can detect. It measures assembled approximately 11 3/8 inches high x 5 5/8 inches widest diameter x 6 7/8 inches spout to handle.
This is a rare and or distinctive piece, so a larger than normal box will be used to further insure this rare item arrives safely. Please understand we only have one two of these pieces and have one shot to get it to you safely.
We will not compromise the safety of breakable items by using an inappropriate size box in order to save on shipping. If you feel that shipping is too high please feel free to contact us so that we may find a more economical shipping option for you if possible. The postal carriers mandate at least 4-6 inches of padding between the piece and the walls of the box in order to fully cover items from damage. The shipping calculator is not consistently accurate. This item will ship via UPS domestically and a signature will be required for items fully covered over 100 dollars. An adult signature will be required for items fully covered over 1000 dollars.
For international buyers we will only ship to your country if we can fully cover the item or items for the full purchase amount. Due to the nature of the item, it will ship via Priority Express Mail International as this service offers full coverage, a signature required and tracking which we mandate for this item! There are less expensive options though we will not use them as they do not offer the services we require. The size box required for this item to arrive safely is no allowed by some countries so please contact us before purchasing this item.
