Beautiful Signed Japanese Imari Meiji Period Porcelain Plate w/ Bird Scene :

This Japanese imari plate is decorated with a center bird scene encircled with panels of floral designs. The outer body is also decorated with various designs. It is signed with a six character mark on the reverse and dates from the Meiji period. It measures approximately 1 + ½ inches high and 8 + 3/4 inches at it‘s widest point. It is in excellent condition with the exception of some wear on the gilt and a very minor chip on the foot rim.
