Iam thinning my personal collection of watches and have for sale abeautiful Swiss Made, Vintage Ladies Vertex watch with sub-secondhand. The precise date of this watch is almost impossible to date,since records were not maintained by Vertex to this date. However, itappears to be from possibly late \'20s to late \'30s. There arenumerous maintenance marks dated from the \'40s inside the case backso it is at least from WWII era.

Mostimportantly, she is a beautiful piece, at least 70 years old andstill running as smoothly today as she was when she was first made.I\'m very sad to see her go, but needs must.

Case:

22mmexcluding crown and 30mm lug to lug in shiny stainless steel. Ilovely condition with no corrosion or major nicks or scuffs. Shereally does not look her age.

Movement:

Swiss Made Vertex (VW) caliber 42, 15-jewel movement. Is bright and clean and running strongly, without any random stoppages or other vices.

Dial,Indices & Hands:

DialIs silvery white with a gentle yellowing due to age and one or twominor inclusions on the surface. Some mild spotting, but on the wholevery good condition. The indices are black with an art-deco fonttypical of 1920-1940. The hands are corrosion free blued steel andfeatures an elegant sweeping sub second hand.

Crystal:

Isin very fine condition with few scuffs, no cracks and no clouding.

Stem& Winder:

Everythingis in fine condition, taking roughly 12-14 half-turns to fully windfor over 24 hours of running time.

Strap:

Isa tasteful, replacement white metal strap.
