This is a quite beautiful object.It is a gilt on solid Swiss silver turquoise enamelled fob watch, with rolled gold chain & clip, and sterling silver gilt pin-brooch.The watch itself is a 15-jewel Swiss FHF movement, crown wind and pin set, which has also been wristlet converted.It winds fine and adjusts just as it should.Although it is in working order, it has to be pointed out that the watch works fine face down, but sticks repeatedly face up. I am not aware of any specific faults, so I recommend it be serviced. The case is solid silver and fully Swiss hallmarked. The gilt on the exterior has minor wear but is still quite good, and on the inside rearcover is really excellent. The loop is 9ct gold.The beautiful enamelling is perfect....very rare!On the rear is an impressed design, with glass and seed pearls. Some are missing...but would be quite simple to source and replace.The chain and clip is rolled gold. The pin brooch is gilt covered solid sterling silver.This is a wonderful antique combination....and would make a superb present!
