Beautiful romantic outfit for your 13\" Dianna Effner Little Darling doll or similary sized/shaped doll.This beautiful outfit includes the dress, pantaloons, tights, sash and headband.The dress was sewn from a modified pattern by Farmcookies...I used the sleeve, underskirt and pantaloons patterns by Nedra and the tights are a modified MHD pattern. The beautiful dress is sewn from one of my favorite fabrics. It has tiny sprays of deep pink, light blue, white and purple flowers and tiny green leaves on a deep grey background. The bodice is lined in a white on white cotton fabric and closes in the back with two concealed snaps, covered by two small white buttons. The long sleeves are very full and gathered at the wrist to form a ruffle, trimmed in a white dimensional lace. A cute little Peter Pan collar in the white on white fabric finishes off the neckline. The skirt is very full and gathered, with a decorative top-stitch in white on the hem.
The attached underskirt is sewn from a white on grey cotton fabric. The deep, very full ruffle on the underskirt is trimmed in a beautiful one-inch wide, white, dimensional scalloped lace that shows beneath the hem of the overskirt.
I used this same lace as a sash around the waist of the dress. I carefully trimmed the top edge of the lace to compliment the shape of the bodice of the dress. The sash ties in the back with a large bow for a very sweet, romantic touch. The pantaloons are sewn in the grey dress fabric and feature an elasticized waist and a decorative top-stitch just above the deep, gathered ruffled hem. I used a very stretchy white lace knit fabric for the tights. They feature an elasticized waist and fit our little girl perfectly!I carefully cut off just the flower edge of some of the lace and used it for the headband, which ties in a tiny bow, either at the top of our little girl\'s head or at the back nape of the neck. Milly and her shoes are not included in this sale.
