BIG VINTAGE ZUNI MOTHER OF PEARL FISH SCALES INLAY PIN DESCRIPTION

A large, beautiful round Zuni pin with mother of pearl channel inlay in the pattern known as \"fish scales\". The mother of pearl is shimmery white, with some iridescent colors as the pin catches the light.

The pin measures 1-7/8 inches in diameter and has a substantial weight, 28 grams, or about 1 ounce. It is not signed and not marked as to silver content, although I believe it to be sterling.

There are a few tiny areas of pitting to the mother of pearl in the corners near the silver lines. Otherwise in excellent condition.
