I have never seen one of these before. It is a Bing Crosby signature label gabardine casual shirt made by Jayson in 1951, from what I gathered from some online research. See copy of advertisement in photos (Sorry, I don\'t own copies of this advertisement. It is just posted here for illustration/not part of this sale).
The shirt is a size \"15-15 1/2\". Fits like a modern medium.Measurements:Armpit to Armpit: 21 inchesTop to Bottom (from back collar hem): 28 inchesSleeve Length (from collar to cuff): 30 inchesSleeveLength (from shoulder hem to cuff): 23 1/2 inches
Please note: both elbows are are worn through (see photo). These holes could possibly be patched or maybe the sleeves could be cut off to make this into a short sleeve shirt? Otherwise, the shirt is in decent, vintage condition. Not perfect, but not bad for a 60+ year-old shirt! A few nubs here and there. Still, an awesome collectible for Bing fans!
