Bismarck is Avalon Hill\'s 1962 simulation of the famous May, 1941 sea chase during the battle of the Atlantic. Bismarck (AH #517) pits the British Home Fleet against the most powerful battleship on the planet. Bismarck is probably one of Avalon Hill\'s most playable games. This vintage naval action game is complete and punched and is in the \"Big Box\" format. The game itself is in excellent condition. So, as in the words of the famous song by Johnny Horton, get ready to Sink The Bismarck once more.
Included in this game are:
*A 14\" x 22\" Battle Board.*A 14\" x 22\" Search Board.*A Search Board Screen.*An Instruction Folder.*A set of Battleship Counters to be used on the Battle Board.*A set of Ship Counters to be used on the Search Board.*A Record Pad.*A set of four Zone Cards.*A Historical Commentary and Notes sheet.*One die.
Both playing boards are in excellent condition with no splits, tears, etc. The Ship Counters, Zone Cards and Search Board Screen are all there and in excellent condition. The Instruction Folder and the Historical Commentary sheet are slightly yellowed. There are a few original Record Pad sheetssuitable for photocopying and a large supply of photocopied sheets. The box top is slightly shelf worn, but has no torn or taped corners. The box bottom has a slight bend on one side, but no torn or taped corners. The storage tray is like new. For a 50+ year old first edition game it is truly in great shape.
