This is a vintage (50+ years old) black lacquer ware musical jewelry box from Thailand with inlaid mother of pearl. It was bought in Bangkok during the Vietnam War years...Not sure of the tune but it sounds good...there are two compartments as well as a mirror on the inside...has gray fuzzy material lining it...measures 11-1/2\" long by 7-11/4\" wide by 5\" tall ....... Great piece of history...
