Today I\'m listing this absolutely stunning handcrafted shillelagh. This particular shillelagh is exactly 1lb. in weight and is 35\" long. It has been seasoned it for 2 years before I applied 3 coats of yacht varnish and I have gave it a black lacquer finish. This shillelagh has stunning colours on it and it fits nice in the hand. It is made in 2 pieces of blackthorn using a very strong spigot type joint. It\'s very strong and has lots of thorns left on it which makes it particularly beautiful. It is a nice size in weight and it could serve as a good stick for any purpose. I have also fitted a rubber ferrule and a standard sized tennis ball as a scale. This stick will last someone a lifetime as it is a very solid piece of wood and it has been crafted in the traditional Irish way.
