This is an original painting by an artist of many gifts. Dottie Dracos is both a painter and a ceramic artist. You will find many of her animal prints on Etsy, but few original paintings are available. This is an original painting, not a print of any kind. The painting is masterful in it\'s composition and with the exceptional detail she has painted. This is a stunningly beautiful young woman. She looks to be in her early 20\'s. Her face is a face of lovely innocence, perhaps from a time of greater innocence than in our world today. The longer you look at her face the more it seems like the painting is alive. It reminds me of the opening scenes of the movie, \"Somewhere in Time.\" You probably have to be old to remember that movie; it is my favorite movie of all time. Most of Dottie\'s original animal paintings begin in the range of $400.00 and go up from there. This is one that\'s perhaps the very best compositions. It\'s value will only increase in time.
Condition: I have already stated above that the painting has been protected behind glass since new. The frame continues to protect the painting and it\'s ok, but this painting deserves better. I will ship the painting very protectively in the frame, but the frame should be replaced. Shipping will be: USPS., or FedEx.
