A rare Blue Fish jacket with two large printed patch front pockets, six fabulous buttons, crisp prints, 4.5\" side slits, and the Blue Fish signature logo patch in the back bottom right corner. This piece has a purple patch dated 1996.
I took the photos in various light, because I don\'t know how to describe the color. I would say that it\'s either olive with brown undertones, or brown with olive undertones. Blue Fish names their colors in unique and wonderful ways, which don\'t always give much insight to the actual color. I have attached a stock photo I found on Google of the cover of the 1996 summer catalog, and it might be the color of the outfit worn by the second model from the right ... but no guarantees! The jacket is measuring 48\" across the bust and the hips. It is measuring approx. 32 inches from neck seam to hem in the front, and approx. 33 inches from the neck seam to hem in the back. The sleeves measure approx. 21 inches from shoulder to seam This top is marked Size 2.
This top is from my mother\'s estate. She passed away in 2001 and her collection of Blue Fish has been living in the back of my closet since, so check back often and see what I have unboxed! We traveled the world (oil company father) from 1953 to 1968, after which we settled in Texas where my mother worked in the apparel industry from the mid-70s until her death. Her tastes were classic and traditional, but she liked to accentuate with trendy and funky, so her boxes will contain an eclectic mixture of great vintage stuff!
