Unique Antique French Sterling Silver Fruit / Dessert Serving Set with spectacular, meticulously detailed, figural handles and vermeil ends. The set comprises a strawberry / fruit server with a striking cast and chased Satyr handle, with vermeil end finely engraved with floral and scrolling foliate motifs, and a serving spoon featuring an equally stunning floral bedecked Ram\'s head handle, with vermeil end.Each piece is stamped with the French Minerve 1st standard silver mark (.950), and maker\'s mark for renowned Parisian silversmith and jeweller Victor BOIVIN, active in 1897. Condition is very good, with just light signs of use to note, and the vermeil (18k gold on silver) is very well preserved. An exceptional quality, unique, and beautiful addition to a fine silver collection....
