Part of a set in the Franklin Mints Sportman\'s Year Hunting and Fishing Collection that came out 1989. This highly embellished folding hunter is proof positive of fine German knife crafstmanship and quality. Full factory edge blade is 24 carat Gold Plated precision ground with a pair of Canada Geese etching. Handle is made out of Exotic African Blackwood adorned with a plated 24 carat Goose Medallion bust, that provides striking contrast against the black handle. Bolsters are of thick nickel silver material. Lockback system that secures the blade in open position so tightly, it feels almost like a fixed blade configuration. Closing and opening is ball bearing smooth. This item is in Perfect condition, but is not without a cosmetic blemish. Functionality is factory perfect.
