This is a leaf of early printing from the Biblia Neerlandica or Generalstaaten-Bibel. Book of Ruth Chapter 1. This later version of the 1637 edition was printed in 1650 by P. Aertsz van Ravensteyn at Leyden It was the standard Bible of the Dutch Reform Church corresponding to Luther\'s version in Germany and The King James Version in England. The folio leaf measures 379 x 248 mm in totality and contains varying lines of gothic Dutch text printed double column on paper.
