Bossons Heads Hand Painted TONY WELLER Charles Dickens Series Copyright 1964 :
$45.00

This is a Bossons Heads hand painted chalkware wall ornament in the Charles Dickens series, which was produced from 1964 until 1996 at the W.H. Bossons Factory in Congleton, England. TONY WELLER was a character in the Charles Dickens\' book, The Pickwick Papers.

William Henry Bossons, a retired pottery maker, started making figurines in 1944. In 1946, he and his son, Ray Bossons, set up a factory in Congleton, England, that remained open until December 6, 1996, when it closed forever. The end of an era.

This Bossons Head is one of the \"Charles Dickens Series Composites\" sculpted by Fred Wright and is 5.5 inches tall, is in near mint condition and is a highly collectible wall ornament. I found it at an estate sale and acquired it because it looks almost brand new, with no cracks or chips. A near perfect Bossons is very hard to find. This one will display very well.

I do combined shipping and \" get it there fast\" shipping. Please email me for the details. I try to charge only the actual cost of shipping and never a handling charge. Thank you.
