DESCRIPTION:This is the Breyer Horse “Mauvelous” – Rearing Silver mold, done for Breyer’s exclusive Velvet Rope Event in 2002. Limited Edition of 200 models.

Breyer 2002 Velvet Rope Event SR Horse - \"Mauvelous.\" He is the highly sought after Rearing Silver mold in a Glossy Mauve Grulla Pinto color, designed by the talented artist Thomas Bainbridge. This model was a special run of only 200 for the special event held at Breyer’s factory in New Jersey.

I, myself, purchased this particular model directly from Tom Bainbridge. It was his personal copy, and he assured me that it was one of the nicest ones of the run. This model is gorgeous, and in factory mint condition – I see no flaws (no rubs, scuffs, scratches, dark marks, etc.). This is an outstanding specimen – his coloring/shading, and eye and hoof detailing are excellent. He is signed by Tom on the bottom of his tail.

Mauvelous has been a multi-champ, and earned several NAN cards when I showed him in the early 2000’s (NAN cards are long expired and I no longer have them). I have not shown him since 2007, and he has been kept in a glass curio, in a non-smoking home. He will come with his Certificate Of Authenticity and blue velvet Breyer bag.

This is a Traditional sized Breyer horse.
