Traditional size Breyer modelhorse - #410 Sham. Model wasproduced as part of the Artist Series during 1984-1988 and was sculpted by Rich Rudish. He is a stunning blood bay with solid face and black points, andhas the \"wheat ear\" on his chest (though a bithard to see from the bloating) andthe whitespot behind the rear hoof. This particular model exhibits the unusual \"bloating\" that happens when a factory air hole is not properly opened and heat causes the horse to expand, so the model becomes what is known in the hobby as a \"bloatie\". His bloating is minor compared to some I have seen, but it is visible in the neck, chest, and rear. I have provided several angles to show these areas, please email if you need additional pictures. A truly unique model and nice little variation for the Sham conga or serious collector looking for something different; perfect for the collectorthat searches for thesevery unusual if slightly odd-looking models.
Model has some shiny marks and rubs. Rubs are mainly on the left barrel and right rear leg as pictured, with some lighter scuffing on sides,and rubs to eartips and nose/hoof edges; has some overall factory rough areas under the paint and a bit of odd factory paint on left knee.
