Bronzejar from the Danish factory of FUGLESANG made in the 1940s.This isthe medium size. Have seen two smaller jars and one bigger jar. The factory did also make other decorative items such as ink wells and four-sided trays. Almost the same type of jar that Arne Bang made in stoneware the same period. NO damages or repairs. This items is not marked. When items from this factory is marked you´ll find a singing bird on the bottom (FUGLESANG =Bird song. Fuglesang is also a known surname in Denmark). Jars in this side was earlier -and today- used as holder forwriting instruments.Measures: 7½ cm high and the top diameter is 8½ cm.
