This is a wonderful and scarce Circa 1800 American Pewter Porringer with Cast Crown Handle, attributed to the Boston, Massachusetts area. The bowl portion of the porringer measures approximately 4-3/8\" in diameter with very subtle misshaping, as shown in the photos. We see NO breaks, nor repairs, nor restoration. The cast crown handle shows very crisp detailing, as shown in the photos. This comes from a very nice \'Americana\' collection of antique pewter, glass, spatterware, etc... that we will be listing in the coming days.
