Lovely C. 1880\'s antique German bisque 22\" doll. Closed two color pouty mouth, turned shoulder head, hand blown spiral brown stationary eyes, lots of very thin lashes and framed by striated blonde eyebrows. The bisque turned rounded shoulder head is marked only with the single block letter, \"L\" and is pale with brightly blushing checks (tiny flea bite on left cheek and small hairline on top of the right side of head). Leather arms and individually stitched leather fingers. Cloth fashion body. Blonde human hair wig with a garland of antique millinery flowers. Fabulous antique two piece blue/green satin and lace gown and very old leather heels. Beautiful antique stockings, as well. This doll appears to be a very early Kestner of the \"A.T. type\". She has the look of a \"A. Thuillier\" (the most coveted of French dolls). Her expression is both dreamy and very pouty. Her overall look is that of a French doll.
