For your consideration is a c.1915 Real Photo Postcard of two beautiful newly carved totem poles in Alert Bay British Columbia. The photographers initials are J.W. The creator of the poles may have been James Skitt Mathews (1878-1970)

I\'ve been a collector of photographs, important documents and publications related to Native American history for over 35 years. I am not a commercial dealer. My collection mainly covers the period from early 1700\'s to 1930. The images (all vintage) are of various sizes and have been safely stored in archival museum boxes in a climate controlled setting and are in the same condition as when I acquired them....
