A spectacular late Edwardian Sterling Silver 5-piece tea set comprising Teapot, Coffee Pot, covered Sugar Bowl, Waste Bowl and Cream Jug. The elegant lines of this exceptional set are finely emphasised by gadroon borders, and lids are surmounted by silver capped ebony finials. Both teapot and coffee pot feature ebony scroll handles set in striking figural Serpent ferrules, with the teapot further enhanced by a floral bedecked spout, handle\'s lower ferrule in the form of a Swan with outstretched wings, andlid with concealed hinge. The waste bowl and cream jug have vermeil / gilt interiors, and feature dramatic intertwined figural Serpent handles, meticulously crafted with exceptionally fine detailing.

This remarkable, uniquely styled 5pc tea set weighs an impressive 3120 grams, and each piece is appropriately stamped with the full set of Hallmarks for London 1910, and marker\'s mark ofC. S. HARRIS & Co. Ltd. Cleaned by our Parisian master silversmith, condition is excellent, with only light signs of use to note. For the finest of tables....
