Creswell, c1765. 31st Edition.Original and rare early provincially printed example of Bunyan\'s Christian classic, here featured in three parts, concluding with the Life of John Bunyan at the rear. Features primitive woodcuts throughout, as shown in pics. Each of the three parts comes with a separate title page. Sadly, this copy is lacking boards, retaining the leather spine with raised bands, as shown. Main title page in front with loss, also lacking main frontis; main block from there on is complete although lacking final 4 leaves at the rear of Bunyan\'s Life. Last 8 or so leaves rounded with creasing and light loss at the corners due to exposure. Essentially and textually complete copy of a rare Nottingham imprint with woodcuts. Measures 6.25\" x 4\".
