This is a great looking old picture that I think is from a Sioux warrior tribe, if I\'m wrong please let me know so I can revise it, I did research it but couldn\'t figure it out, you can see what looks like ink on the back and a faint ghosted imagine of the figure showing through. See pics,.

The inside measurements of the frame is 16\"x8\" of the frames. You can actually see the tooling carving marks in the wood of the frames. It also looks as though there was some sort of gilding on the frames at one time you can still see faint signs of it here and there. As for the picture is concerned I\'m really not sure what it is because it feels as though it\'s on some sort of parchment paper, I looked through all of the photos and pictures that were posted and what had been completed and didn\'t see anything like it. I\'m sure the frames had wooden backs on them at one time just due to the fact of the depth of the recessed space on the back and the one with the picture in it I believe has the original glass in it because I\'ve collected antiques for 40 years and I know the difference between old and new glass, the old glass is much thinner and is a little wavy normally with a few bubbles in it.

Feel free to send me any questions you have or comments if I have anything wrong because I tried to research this but I just couldn\'t find anything else like it. so please make sure use the photos for description and conditions the one closeup of the photo you can see that there\'s some sort of texture in the paper.
