DETAILS

A book detailing the author\'s opinion on the necessity of marrying religious husbands and wives only, as well as being of the same opinion of religion with a spouse and taking none but religious servants.

Contains a portrait of Defoe and an inkinscription to one Martha Pettifer from Boxford, Berkshire.

CONDITION

In calf binding with gilt detailing. Externally sound, with some rubbing to the extremities and wear to the joints and backstrip and an ink inscription to pastedown. There is a contrastinglabel to spine.Internally firmly bound, with strain to the hinges and foxing to the endpapers. The pages are otherwise bright and clean throughout. Overall: GOOD.
