2 3/8" x 3 7/8", mounted onlight colored cardboard.A square-cornered CDV, such as this one, is reliably dated tothe1860s.Civil War Era, early 1860s cartes, often hadtwo thin brown borders around the front; this one only has one but it's probably still from the 1860s, judging by the clothing.
