This Cerrito signed Italian Christmas tree pin is a slender, modernist design in gold plate and dark green enamel over a wavy, textured background for a 3D effect. It is a book piece, featured on page 36 of Nancy Trowbridge\'s Christmas Tree Pins guide. This unique 1960\'s mod vintage tree has a sharp crease down its center spine with one side curved convexly and other side curving in a concave manner. The topper is a five point star mounted with a large clear crystal, prong set. The trunk looks like a leaf stem. Back of the trunk is hallmarked \"Cerrito\" with the copyright symbol. This elegant pin stands 2 3/4\" inches tall X 1 1/4\" inches at its widest point. It is in excellent condition!
