This adorable antique French boudoir bag or purse came to me with a recent attic grenier clearance here in Normandie.
I have left it just as I found it.
A hand made confection it has a silk brocade body with a deep scalloped edge lace trim.
The silk brocade is all good and strong and carries rose and flower sprig borders in rose and pinks with pale green against a cream background.
The lace is old tea colour with scrolls and curls with flower vignettes.
The drawstring top is a silk passementerie cord.
Measurements:
8\" x 7\" when flat.
The silk is all still good and strong with just a little wear to the edges.MORE PICTURES BELOW
