This sweet little picture is one of two antique miniature pictures for dolls which we have shown here and will be listing for sale shortly; please note this offering is for the framed die cut of the young girl only.

The frame for this pretty piece would have originally been used as the insert piece for a circa 1860\'s daguerreotype that is now being used to showcase the portrait die cut of a pretty young girl! It is made of fancy embossed gold tin foil with a copper or tin back and has it\'s original glass cover! The sweet embossed die cut features the portrait of an elegant young girl with a colorful cluster of flowers embellishing the top of her long hair while she holds a single pink flower in her hand, rendering a FABULOUSLY FRENCH appeal!

The frame measures a DIMINUTIVE 2 1/2\" tall by 2\" wide, with the interior opening measuring 2\" tall by 1 1/2\" wide, making it the PERFECT ACCESSORY to hang on the wall in your antique dollhouse or Fashion doll vignette------we can envision creating an entire BOUDOIR SCENE around this lovely lady! In overall good condition, we would suggest adding a bit of wire backing for ease of hanging as it is a solid piece!
