This charming string holder is mark as “Little Miss Sunbeam” incised on the bottom and has the R in a circle registered mark also incised. Inside the back she is stamped 203 and also has a label attached that reads GLOBE 29.
Sheis biting on a slice of breadwhich became the logo for The Sunbeam Bread Company..
Excellent condition with no chips , cracks or crazing, the colors are strong, she looks as if it was never used.Measures 10\" in height and 6\" at her widest point.
In researching this a bit , I understand that she is listed n the Schroeder’s 2011 antique price guide on page 493 for a minimum of $750.00.
This is a must for any collector of interesting chalkware items, definitely for a collector of string holders or for someone that would like to hang a charming conversation item in their kitchen or anywhere.
