Most in the market are truly Thanksgiving cactus - but to list them that way leaves them lost to many people that could care less if they are getting a Thanksgiving vs Christmas bloom - as both have same size style bloom

Holiday cactus are a rainforest plant are used more water than a regular arid type cactus so be sure to water well... allow to dry out then water againWe water with 1 tsp water soluble fertilizer to 1 gallon of water. this give the plant plenty of nutrition.To get it to bloom - They bloom based on short daylight. so keep it away from area (room) that you light often at night.
if you have the time put it in a dark area for about 14 - 15 hours a day but move back in well light area during day - Many will say it need cold to bloom - that is not true and has nothing to do with blooming....This is an easy care plant - They do like to eat
I usually suggest a 25% - 50% strength mixture of liquid fertilizer when you water or spritz to make them just that much more happycut back on fertilizer during bloom period. - They will usually require more water during in bloom as a plant in full bloom uses more water. I do not want any confusion or misunderstanding. We ship live plants dailyThey ship Priority Mail only!!!! If we are shipping to areas that are still having freezing temps then I suggest you have us Ship Priority and have us mark to hold at post office for pick up. So they do not freeze waiting for you to come home from work... You are responsible for this as we expect otherwise you will be home to receive items.
Once you receive them pot up in nice loose soil that holds moisture. But good Drainage... Water thoroughly, and place in bright area - not full sun... (you can slowly move them to full sun over about a 1 - 2 week period). Water regularly, once plants start to grow then you can fertilize lightly with 10-10-10 liquid.PLANTS WILL BE STRESSED SOME FROM THE TRAVEL.
A LITTLE LOVE AND THEY WILL BE JUST FINE!!

This plant likes to eat... So once established... Fertilize often and keep moist - Do not over water.

We ship plants daily based on these rules = When we print your label if it shows 2 day shipping then we will ship as long as your day does not fall on a Saturday or Sunday. Mail does move on Sundays = They just do not deliver on Sundays... We try not to ship if it lands on Saturday = Just in case it gets delayed a day in travel. So please watch your tracking number so you can see when they will be arriving.

This is VERY IMPORTANT: You are receiving live plants please be sure to remove them from the box once received. These are live = NO DIFFERENCE than if it was a puppy in the box... so take them out and allow them to get some air... You should have your pots ready to go for planting as this is important for its initial start - its already stressed some from the travel in a box... give its roots a happy place and get them going well - there are instructions for all plants in the box or scroll down below for those instructions... We want you to have success for your plants... This is VERY important!

Shipping Info... We do utilize flat rate boxes... so we do invoice shipping based on them... keep in mind the cost for shipping flat rate boxes might be a tiny bit more than paying at the post office as we have fees attributed to shipping also.

Combined Shipping = Yes, we do combined shipping... NO ONE wants to pay for shipping but unfortunately its a cost that needs to be factored in...For some reason some people have trouble sending a message for me to combine shipping so here is my suggestion...
When you put items in your shopping cart it seems you are unable to ask for combined shipping... You need to \"buy it now\" then \"Commit to Buy\" click the back arrow browser if it takes you to pay pal.... you should then be able to go to your next plant and do the same and then you can ask.... or you can just pay for your items and then send me a note to do one of 2 things.
Send a note to ask us to refund the difference back to your card.... or have us throw in EXTRA plants... If we do extra plants then you will usually get a little more value on your plants than your refund amount....

We have no control on how our customers take care of theplants... I cannot do anything for youif you delay in letting me know there is a problem... We will not sendunhealthy plants...

Your plants just traveled a long way and were cooped up,wrapped in plastic and paper…. They donot really like that…

Think of them as live animal in a box... you would not leave the animal in there... take them out right away and get them some fresh air

To ensure strong healthy plants…. We suggest to spray theplants with a fungicide (plant disease control) as its almost guarantee thatwith the cooped up box they were in they will have developed a fungus issue –that includes black spots on the leaves or the possibility of them rotting atthe base (it may not show right away) and the plant just dies for no apparent reason…

Pot your plants in a good well drained plant medium or ifthey are large enough you can install them in the ground…

MAKE SURE YOU WATER THEM

After 2 – 4 days you can water the plants with ½ strengthfertilizer every time you water if you desire…

DO NOT FERTILIZE WHENYOU FIRST GET THEM – fertilize plants also fertilizes the fungus if itsthere and it will spread faster… give it a few days for the fungicide sprayingto take effect…. Be sure to spray the base were they meet the soil very good

It\'s always good practice to use fungicide treatment every 14 – 21 days to help keep your plants happyand healthy.

Update 10/4/2016 - Seems to be some confusion...ALL OUR PLANTS SHIP WITH OUT THE POTS unless it specifically tells you to ignore the part that comes with out the pot...We ONLY ship the following plants in pots = Hanging Baskets / Planters,3 Gal potted plantssome 6\" potted plants & Some 8\" potted plantsThe smaller plants do not ship in pots because;1 = We can fit more in a box without the pots. = The lowest shipping fees2 = We find that the plant do not get damaged as much since there is not hard plastic in the box to damage the leaves of neighboring plants in the box.3 = If you want the pot = Some times its possible for us to ship with pots but we will have to adjust your shipping costs for this and YOU WILL NEED TO SEND A MESSAGE PRIOR TO PURCHASE stating you want the pot and ask us for shipping cost for your plant(s)4= Many plants grow in trays and pot size is measurement of the cell - We use wording of potted plant because many times we have more than 1 plant in a pot and if i call it 2 plants and the pot comes with 2 plants then many think they get - lets say 1 pot -we sell our plants as a pot size with 1 to multiple plants in a pot = Depending on the plants. If you are ordering this item and its going to be traveling thru areas of extreme cold. We offer heat packs that will hold temp up for up to 72 hours... These packs are 5.99 ea = That includes the add\'l shipping costs that will In-cure because of the added weight. We usually do not have a problem with items that travel during winter unless someone is not home to receive the package... However if the item freezes during travel and you do not request a heat pack.... We can not guarantee it arrives safely. Again We usually do not have a problem with shipping but this is your call... If you want a heat pack = then you must notify us on a SEPARATE message to invoice you for one...Many plants will need more than one heat pack.
