Up for sale is a beautiful Windlass of India Civil War Reproduction of an Ames Model 1840 Officer\'s Artillery Saber with the appropriate scabbard . It has a very nicely etched blade as you can see in the photos and is very well made . The blade is 31\" L x 1 1/8\" W x 3/16\" thick . The grip is exceptional for a reproduction - the leather appears to be actual leather and the wire wrap is actual brass wire wrap as it should be and it continues under the pommel as an original would . The scabbard has brass throat piece , rins and ring mounts of brass and an appropriate boot style brass drag as the originals had . The detail work on the Officer\'s pommel and the D-guard are of excellent quality as well . I can remove the Trademark and the India logo if desired for a fee. I sell and ship to the lower 48 only and this is an as is sale with no returns - so be sure before you buy . Shipping is $25.00 east of the Miss River and actual cost if beyond .
