Up for sale is This WONDERFUL PAIR OF ANTIQUE LEMARIE FABt PARIS BINOCULARS WITH ORIGINAL CASE. These are said to be from the Civil War which make them over 150 years old. The binoculars have normal wear but the left eyepiece is dented but still fully functional. The optics are pretty clear but could use a good cleaning, there is a very little fungus in the front lenses. They offer a sharp image and are really pretty powerful. The case has wear and has an ancient repair of the hinge and hasp but it protected these binoculars very well. I have done my best to preserve the case and made minor repairs. The case measures approximately 6\"x5.5\"and is missing the strap and handle. The binoculars measure 4.5\"x5.5\" and expand to 6.5\", the focus ring works very smoothly. These are sold AS-IS.
