An American Civil War era wooden foot stool with wonderful carved spindle legs. Out of New England. The top is covered in linen. Side panels are covered in early brown velvet. Both fabrics are nicely worn with no holes or damages. Linen might need a light clean. Wooden surface has dry, dark rich color and patina. A nice, sturdy well-made find, and a great place to sit or rest your feet. 8\" tall. 11\" long x 8\" deep.
