Offered here is a very fine LOT OF THREE (3) CIVIL WAR ERA CONFEDERATE STATES PROVISIONAL ISSUES BY THE POSTMASTER OF NEW ORLEANS, LA. This lot of stamps was recently purchased at a local estate sale and several fine CONFEDERATE STAMPS AND COVERS were purchased. This group include three PROVISIONAL ISSUES FROM NEW ORLEANS. A caption written under each stamp described the color. I include the description here as follows:

FIRST STAMP: \"BROWN ON WHITE\". (PAPER) I believe this to be number SCOTT NUMBER: 62X3.

SECOND STAMP: \"RED BROWN ON BLUISH\" (PAPER) I believe this to be SCOTT NUMBER 62X4

THIRD STAMP: \"YELLOW BRON ON OFF WHITE\" (PAPER). I believe this to be SCOTT NUMBER 62X5 ?

All three of these stamps are in very good condition. The different colors and types noted together make identifying other stamps much easier. This group would make a great addition to your CONFEDERATE STAMP AND CIVIL WAR COLLECTION. See photos for additional details.
