Up for sale is an Art Deco lift-arm cigarette lighter made by made by W.G.Clark & Co., probablymade in about the late 1920s. This slim modelis called “The Petite” and is so stamped on the bottom. Also stamped “CLARK”. Very Modernistic looking - it has a fantastic abstract lacqueredpainting on both front and back in yellow, black and green. In researching this lighter, I have seen similar abstract patterns, but I havenot seen this particular pattern at all. Measurementsare 1\" W and 1 7/8\" H. Thelacquer paint is in excellent vintage condition – no missing paint and noscratches. Although some amount of wearis expected from a lighter of this age, you will see by the pictures that there isvery minimal wear to this lighter. I have not cleaned the lighter – I willleave that up to the buyer.
