This listing is for a handmade costume set for Breyeror Peter StoneArabianmodel horses.The set was crafted and stored in a non-smoking Environment.

All of the ropes and tassels in the halter and collarwere designed and hand made by me. Theset features silver tone hardware and is properly scaled and delicate enough tobe used for photo showing, and possibly live showing. However, I remember the thrill of making upadventures for my Breyers and their people when I was a horse crazy kid(something I obviously never quite grew out of), so I did construct the setwith durability and play in mind. Alltassels, beads, halters ropes and collar attachments are securely sewn togetherrather than glued. Because the set doeshave small parts I wouldn’t recommend it for a very young child (under 5).

The base color for this set is matte silver/pearl grey with accents in burgundy and raspberry. This set features 14hand-tied, tassels on the halter and 51 beaded tassels on the collar. The collar has a slide adjustment. Both the halter and collar have matchingembroidered designs. The halter has ahand-made, attached custom lead and a slider bead to adjust the throat latch ofthe halter.

It is modeled by Breyer Weather Girl and wasconstructed with her (and other small to medium traditional models) inmind. The set will fit other moldsincluding: the Peter Stone Arabian, the Peter Stone Santa Fe Morgan, the Hartland 9 inch Arabian Stallion, Breyer Proud Arabian Stallion, ProudArabian Mare, Sham, Lady Roxanna, Make a Wish/Oasis, Khemosabi, andMarwari. It will go on a few of thelarger molds such as Black Stallion 401, and Family Arabian Mare, but thehalter is a tad snug on them. This setwill BARELY fit Huckleberry Bey, but, unfortunately, it will NOT fit otherlarger molds with wild manes or wide-set ears.That is the extent of my Arabian(ish) collection (at the moment), butI’ll be happy to look at other molds if you wish.

Although I don’t officially offer custom work, I’mhappy to make a set in a requested size/color and then put it up forsale. That way, if you like it, it’syours, but if you don’t, neither of us gets “stuck” with the item. So if you see something you like that is in acolor that isn’t quite right for your special model, please send me a message –you might be the inspiration for the next set that’s saleed off. Thanks!
