The Navajo Singer Families are prolific designers and makers of fragment or chips Inlay style. The patriarch is Tommy Singer, 1940; active since 1960.
This is an incredible vintage Navajo museum quality inlay silver bracelet. This amazing
piece contains phenomenal inlay work that includes coral and turquoise. This bracelet was handmade by the Singer Family. Bordering the cuff are very intricate teepee patterns. The cuff consists of thick sterling silver. The width of the bracelet measures around 1-1/2\". Navajo artist Singer Family . Sterling silver. Cir. 1960\'s+. The inside end to end measures around 6\" with an additional 1\" gap. Sturdy 65 grams.
*Older vintage pieces such as this are often unmarked. I purchased this from a very reputable Native American Jewelry & Art sale dealer who guarantees authenticity on every piece they sell. They live in New Mexico and have been quite active in collecting for many years. What makes this cuff special (other than its size and beauty) is the depiction of the \"Waterbird\" smack in the center. Because of its age, most of the etchings cannot be read but everything (style and perfection of inlay to the various etchings) are what I am told went into the classification it it being from the Singer Family. The family jointly created several pieces under the tutelage and joint effort of patriarch, Thomas Singer.
This cuff will fit most 6.50\" wrists. It is wide, so please measure your wrist carefully taking the cuff width into consideration. DO NOT TRY TO BEND THIS BECAUSE THE INLAY WILL GET DAMAGED. ( it is for that reason that I cannot accept return on this item)
